Why I built this site

I’m a GP dentist in Cairns. Most of what’s online about a dentist is a clinic page: services, booking, a smiling stock photo. This isn’t that.

This site is for the other half of the job: learning out loud, building small tools, and trying to be useful to other dentists. Learning on Purpose is the whole idea: pick the thing worth getting good at, and go after it deliberately.

What you’ll find here

• Writing: short notes on clinical work, the Fellowship in Restorative Dentistry I’m working through, and what I learn building software.
• Tools: software I make for dentists. The first is ClinicalNote.
• Speaking: talks and lectures, starting with the one I give students about the things nobody tells you in fifth year.

No pop-ups, no tracking you around the internet. There’s a newsletter if you want it, but it’s opt-in and easy to leave. Otherwise, just the work.
