Privacy

Short version: the only personal information this site collects is your email address, and only when you choose to give it — to get ClinicalNote or to subscribe to the newsletter. I use it to send you those things and nothing else. I don't sell it, and you can leave any time.

What I collect

Your email address, when you enter it in one of the signup forms on this site. That's it — no accounts, no login, and no advertising or tracking cookies. The site does keep a small flag in your own browser so it can stop showing you a signup form you've already used; that stays on your device and never reaches me.

Why I collect it

To send you the ClinicalNote download, and to send the occasional note about new tools, writing, and what I'm building. Nothing else.

Who handles it

Email signups run through Kit (kit.com), which stores your address on its systems so I can send those messages — their privacy policy covers how they handle it. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs (including IP addresses) as part of serving and protecting any website. I don't sell, rent, or share your email beyond what's needed to send you these emails.

The tool itself

ClinicalNote runs entirely in your own browser, on your device — it doesn't send your notes, or anything else, back to me. Its optional AI features run on your own API key and send only to your AI provider, at your discretion; I never see any of that. There's more on this in the terms.

Your choices

Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes you off the list. If you'd like your details deleted entirely, email me and I'll take care of it.
